2. Our Contract With You
When you place an order through the GINBABE website, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with us.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
• You are over 18 years old
• You have the legal right to enter into this contract
• You agree to these Terms & Conditions
Once your order is confirmed by email, a contract is formed between you and GINBABE.
3. Product Information
We take great care to describe and photograph our jewellery accurately. However:
• Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings
• Natural gemstones may vary in tone and inclusions
• Measurements are approximate
Each piece is designed to be unique, particularly handmade or hand-set pieces.
4. Pricing & Payment
• All prices are shown in GBP (£)
• Prices include VAT where applicable
• Payment must be made in full at checkout
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, this will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
5. Made-to-Order & Personalised Jewellery
Many GINBABE pieces are made to order or personalised, including letter charms, bespoke combinations, and custom requests.
Because of this:
• Made-to-order and personalised items are non-refundable unless faulty
• Production times will be clearly stated at purchase
Please check all details carefully before placing your order.
6. Shipping & Delivery
• Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees
• We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events outside our control
• Risk of loss passes to the customer once the item has been delivered to the address provided at checkout
• Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are correct at the time of purchase
7. Returns & Refunds
Ready-to-ship items (non-personalised)
Unused items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Personalised or made-to-order items
Personalised or made-to-order pieces are non-returnable, unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Returned items must:
• Be unworn
• Be returned in the original GINBABE packaging
Returns showing signs of wear may be refused or subject to a deduction.
All returns are inspected upon arrival before refunds are processed.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return has been received, inspected, and approved.
Items returned without prior contact may not be accepted.
GINBABE reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions.
8. Faulty Items
If your item is faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos and order details.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
9. Jewellery Care & Wear
Fine jewellery is delicate by nature and should be handled with care.
Charms and pendants should be securely attached before wear.
We are not responsible for:
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by improper care
• Loss of stones after wear
Care instructions should be followed to maintain your piece.
If your item develops a manufacturing fault within 3 months of purchase, please contact us and we will assess the piece for repair or replacement.
This does not cover accidental damage, improper use, or normal wear and tear.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the GINBABE website — including designs, imagery, logos, copy, and branding — is the property of GINBABE and may not be used without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GINBABE shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
